Chapter Six

Later that same evening, Dmitri knocked on the bedroom door. When Dylan opened it, Dmitri

was standing in the hallway with a tray of food. Dylan backed up so that the young man could

enter and Dmitri went right to the table and sat down the tray. He turned to the two men and for the first time, Dylan noticed that he wasn't sober.

"Brent fixed tacos for us and there were leftovers," he slurred.

The fact he was once again drunk bothered Dylan and he wondered how long the boy had been

an alcoholic. He knew if he had to live with Marcus for any period of time, he'd be hitting the bottle pretty hard himself. Then he wondered yet again how Dmitri had come to be with Marcus.

The boy didn't seem to be overly intelligent but that didn't make him a bad person. His

association with Marcus puzzled Dylan though. There must be 30 years between them. Marcus

hadn't hidden the fact there was a physical relationship between them and Dmitri didn't look all that shocked when he'd seen Marcus in all his naked glory. There was definitely a mystery here and once again Dylan hoped he could gain the boy's trust long enough to perhaps use him to get away. Brent was a problem however and at this point, he didn't have all the answers or even a plan worth considering.

"Thank you, Dmitri," Dylan said. He reached over and patted Dmitri's shoulder. Dmitri looked stunned for just a second and then Dylan was shocked to see tears spring to the boy's eyes.

"Just do what Marcus says so you and Connor," he glanced over at the other man before looking down, "so that you two can get outta here." The last part was said with such sadness, Dylan was floored. He was right. Dmitri didn't like the job he'd been tasked to perform anymore than Dylan did. Dmitri hurried out of the room without saying another word.

Connor stood and walked to the table looking over the food and picked up a warm tortilla and

began to assemble a taco before looking up at Dylan.

"Can I make one for you?" he asked with a smile.

Dylan walked up and took Connor's chin in his hand. He pulled him into a kiss, the taco between them completely forgotten. He pulled back and looked down at Connor's sweet lips.

"Thank you," Dylan replied as he took the food from Connor.

Connor grinned as he prepared another for himself and they sat together in silence while they ate.

The food was good and Dylan was surprised by how hungry he was. They hadn't had anything

since morning and the combination of hot sex and the emotional roller-coaster he'd been on all day left him exhausted. As soon as they finished, he pulled Connor up and steered him toward

the bed.

"You tired?" Connor asked with a half-smile.

Dylan looked back at him as he began undressing. "Let's just say only one of my hungers has been satisfied."

Connor snorted a laugh and began undressing himself. As soon as they were both naked, they

climbed into the bed.
